Let me start by saying this is a NO FRILLS place to stay. It is older, the doors face out, and the rooms are just very average. They are clean though. They were changing my shower curtain when I walked into my room. A big group of us go to Houma for Mardi Gras and this is an inexpensive place to stay that has a large courtyard with picnic tables that we all hang out at. Each room has a fridge and a microwave. They have a coffee pod so you can make coffee and they have chairs and a table. There are nicer places to stay in Houma but if you go in with the expectation that this isn't a Hyatt, it is a good place to lay your head and have fun with a group. Ask for a courtyard facing room when checking in.

The only thing that I have an issue with would be the housekeeping staff, I thought checkout was at 12 o’clock. However the housekeepers were banging on my door at approximately 1115. The woman asked me if I was gonna be checking out. I told her yes she said OK can you be out at 11:45? 10 minutes later, she’s banging on the door again and five minutes after that front desk she let them know not to rush out the guests

Nice relaxed place for working people traveling through Houma or working here. Next to a great restaurant as well as the hotel has a nice restaurant inside.

July 12, 2023...My wife and I ate lunch at their restaurant today at 11:30. We have eaten there a few times in the past and enjoyed their lunch place. Now, they ONLY offered ONE plate lunch...a shrimp jambalaya so my wife and I each ordered one. For 12 bucks, we got ONLY a 'small' scoop of shrimp jambalaya, corn on the cob (about 2 1/2") and a bun! This was NOT including a drink. NEVER AGAIN! STOP screwing people! In my book they just DIED! What a shame...

For short stay is perfect. The place got a lot better in the last year. The restaurant has very good food. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Awesome little hotel and value for the price. Staff was awesome, food in restaurant was amazing. Good soft bed, hot shower, comfortable bed. Plenty of room throughout the room. Alot of parking, local restaurants next door.

The people there were very nice. However, the room totally smelled EXACTLY like stepping into an old folks home. Yes it was clean, but I couldn't get over the scent of whatever it was they used to clean with. Also, I was given a key card that was bent up.

Nice clean room. Very comfy bed. Could use a snack machine next to the coke and ice machines. But my only real complaint was the loud rolling of the trash cans that woke us up a couple hours before check out
